American artist, Kristen England, began her career within the music and art industries in Los Angeles, California. She went on to found Galeria Pura Vida in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where she features her works as well as those of local artists. Today, she splits her time between the United States and Costa Rica painting from the inspiration she gathers in both homes. She brings her ideas to life with many layers, often abstract but with recognizable imagery.
